About:
My research interests include active and passive remote sensing of aerosols (including black carbon concentration, water uptake, composition, and size), improvement of aerosol optics modules in chemical transport models and general circulation models, the study of the aerosol indirect effect through statistical observations of aerosols near clouds (favoring approaches that constrain the meteorology), spatial representation of surface sites, and quantifying regional variability in the optical properties of mineral dust.
