About:
Mr. Koch has been providing ongoing support for the last four years at NASA Langley Research Center’s Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) which is responsible for the ingest, processing, archival and distribution of NASA Earth Science data within the disciplines of the Earth’s radiation budget, clouds, aerosols, and tropospheric composition. Mr. Koch serves as a geospatial and remote sensing analyst and has demonstrated his expertise and depth of knowledge on a number of projects while there to continue serving and advancing NASA’s mission of providing open, free and accessible data, tools and services to the atmospheric science user community. His background is in geographic science, and is competent in geographic information systems (GIS), cartography, data management, modeling and visualization, and information technology and systems.
