About:
Dr. Natarajan has over 45 years of experience in conducting research in Atmospheric Science using a hierarchy of models and data analyses. His research work has encompassed topics related to the coupling among the atmospheric chemical, radiative, and dynamical processes. Dr. Natarajan has developed software and analyzed large-scale datasets such as those from LIMS, ATMOS, SAGE, SAGE II, HALOE, MLS, TES, and CALIPSO. He conducted Mars atmospheric characterization model studies to support Mars EDL activities. He played an active role in the Balloon measurement campaign in India during the 2015 and 2016 summer monsoon. He is a member of the American Geophysical Union.
